I also don’t think this program is anything to write home about. They are better than this choreo, which is fine, bet generic. They have the skills to make something beautiful and memorable, but this falls flat for me.

But their consistency and quality is going to make them tough to beat in any competition.

It's definitely no artistic masterpiece but their skating is just so, so, so refined compared to their direct competition for the World title IMO. Everything is so tidy and they are typically consistent. The program builds fairly well (that lift at the end) and they've picked up the speed this season which was one of the major things that stood out last year.

Ehhhhhh... That's a rather low bar. And, on second thought, I still nix these costumes rather than ConMac. Her dress has gold accents and his shirt has silver accents and I just CANNOT with the black/silver and white/gold mix for their costumes for this program.

A number of years ago, the National Ballet of Canada did some fabulous contemporary choreography to the Four Seasons and I'd love it if a team could recreate that on the ice.

Honestly, I know Savin farmed out the choreo for their programs this season, but what Pillay created for them with this FS just doesn't work. Maybe the CFSA will allow Lori Nichol to work for some other country's pairs team since there isn't a Chinese team anywhere near the medal mix for Milano-Cortina. What she could do for MiNiki could be superb.

Honestly, I think this may be the winning program at Worlds. There's no way that Streisand won't bring down the house in Boston if they're clean. I think it's slightly more accessible than MiNiki's "Four Seasons".
