Can we get Kelley Ann better tights? They are bordering on orange, and at least 5 shades darker than her skin tone.
 
Next time someone is bitching about Pavlova/Sviatchenko not having a programme remind them of Laurin/Ethier. The whole choreo is passing one's hand through the hair which we receive with `huh??? what was it? oh, that was the choreo, right, off to the elements!'

When it was on the radio every 5 seconds, I would choreograph skating routines in my head.
 
So far the choreography consists of a spread eagle from him and slicking his hair back. Brilliant.

And don't understand picking up the pace so much when they don't have speed.

But snarking aside, these have been two great skates for them after the disappointment that was Skate Canada.

She’s a little too North American teenager for it though. I would not be scared of her in a dive bar. Deanna, OTOH, I’d be looking for the nearest exit.
 
LaurEth - 3tw - okay; SBS 3s+1a+2a - good; oh, that was a bad hip shimmy, Kelly-Ann! SBS 3lo - he had a shitty landing; first lift - fine; throw 3lo - good; second lift - decent; choreo seq - lame but gives them time for more slow skating; throw 3s - good; hey Mark was gone and now he's back, lol; last lift - dead slow but okay otherwise; death spiral - he's trying to pump up the crowd but they're having none of it, lol; combo spin - more dead slow skating... Why?

I'm sure they'll finish ahead of ChanHowe, but their quality is so much lower overall.
 
So did everyone hear that buzzy beep later on in the program. Could that be a timer reminding Mark he is supposed to be sure to add commentary over the music? We have heard one or two of those odd beeps during other skating this year too. This time Mark started commenting immediately after the beep was heard.

No, it was that the audio feed was lost when the entire feed was lost and they were able to restore the video & music from the arena but not Mark's separate audio feed until later.
