Anyone going? I'm back after a year off. I am not ready for either event that I entered, and AN is so early this year.....

I’m going! I don’t feel ready yet either and I’m currently injured, so…Anyone going? I'm back after a year off. I am not ready for either event that I entered, and AN is so early this year.....
I’m going, but not competing. I’m acting as an emotional support animal for a friend. I’ll be cheering everyone on. Have a great time!Anyone going? I'm back after a year off. I am not ready for either event that I entered, and AN is so early this year.....
The adult skating community pushed back on only having streaming from Rink 1, and we were told that the LOC stepped up to pay for streaming on Rink 2. Hopefully there will be links provided in the usual manner. Plus, for anyone interested in watching Rink 2 (which does have championship dance events held on it), there is a donation link to help defray the LOC costs.USFS' press release (will link to the results page after the starting orders are posted and to the YouTube livestream(s) when the Rink 1 events are listed on USFS' channel):
To answer number 2 I know people who competed at national theatre on ice / synchro sectionals who are competing so I don't know if there are restrictionsI watched the pattern dance in the Championship Solo Dance event this afternoon and was extremely impressed. I hope the posters here who are familiar with the Adult rules in the US can answer two questions for me.
1) for the pattern dances, does USFS have a list of approved music, or can the competitors use any music they want that has the set tempo for the dance? I noticed that some competitors skated to the ISU instrumental music for the dance (Argentine Tango) and others skated to pop/rock songs. I never thought I would see someone skate the Argentine Tango to AC/DC's Back In Black, but it fit really well.
2) I also noticed, with the help of Google, that some of the competitors also participated in this year's USFS Collegiate Championships. Is this new? I thought that there were restrictions on competing at Adult Nationals and competing in other USFS national events in the same year.
Re #2, I believe the restriction is only for skaters who compete at standard track Sectionals and/or Nats....they can't compete at AN in the same season but others can as long as they meet age and test reqs.I watched the pattern dance in the Championship Solo Dance event this afternoon and was extremely impressed. I thought when I shared that it might have been his voice.Go Michael Solonoski! Championship Masters Junior-Senior Men FS is underway: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2024/30919/CAT040SEG043.html
ETA that Michael may have recorded himself singing (he performs in cabarets) his own program music! (to be confirmed)
Just wanted to say that watching the ANs livestreams was a really great and inspiring experience for me. I know it's easy to focus on the higher levels, but across the board there was a lot of great skating at every level. I honestly wish the elite skaters (and their teams) would take a page from the adults and stick their necks out a little more on the creative front. I saw so many programs that felt fresh even within the limitations of IJS.
