She seems happy with her performance. Noelle needs to find some more power into the jumps to make the rotations, and landings cleaner - more attack would help as well.

The jump technique leaves a lot to be desired, and the lack of performance, or facial expression is very evident skating after Josephine Lee. Lots of staring at the ice at this point in her development.

Ruiter needs to find some power, and speed in her skating to take her to the next level - more speed/flow on the landings, and more height, power on the takeoffs to improve the overall impact of the jumps.

Similar thoughts to the Angels of Plushenko skater - Shifrin really started to struggle late in the program with getting the jumps into the air.

For a Tammy Gambill skater that was pretty good - nice jumps - needs more power, and strength to get through the jumps at the end of the program.

Sarina hits some lovely positions, but she needs more power & speed in her skating. She's using her back to help get into the jumps, and in the crossovers, and we know that technique is not sustainable.

A solid skate but an unremarkable program - a few moments in the choreography I thought she was going to hit a highlight move, and it didn't quite happen.

Lin needs more height on her jumps. A sign of a well trained athlete is how well do they deal with a mistake, and Lin was supposed to the Ziegler combo of the first jump. Didn't work - no problem - right down the ice to the next Lutz jump, and pulls it off.

Wow, Kaiya Ruiter on course to finish 21st and Josephine Lee unlikely to move up at all and on track to finish 20th, one place lower than last year's 19th.

Skate Canada looks smart in hindsight. The USFS callers and judges look delusional.
