I'm going to be in Lisbon Portugal from Friday Nov. 17 to Monday. Any advice or suggestions for what to see and do would be most appreciated. We are 4 creaky old geezers so no zip lines or bungee jumping. Thank you. :biggrinbo:biggrinbo

Have the egg tarts at Belem Tower. I wasn't crazy about Portugese egg tarts until I had them at Pasteis de Belem. Other places in Lisbon aren't quite as good. They're sweeter and usually sitting there for couple of hours. The ones at Pasteis de Belem have a quick turnaround, so the chances of getting one just out of the oven is higher than most bakeries/restaurants.

Which Monday? Only a weekend, or do you have time?

If you are there for at least a week, I recommend trips to Sintra (overnight if you can), and Obidos was also nice.

The Electricity Museum was really fascinating!

Spend time in the Belem neighborhood - eating pasteis do belem and pasteis de cerveja :swoon:

Ride the tram 38 everywhere!

I love love love Lisbon :cheer2:

If it's only a weekend, I'd explore the city as much as possible and don't worry about side trips unless you just don't enjoy the city that much.

If you enjoy seafood (especially crab), I HIGHLY recommend Ramiro's. I spent my birthday there 6 years ago. It's magic.
