It’s poorly used in both of her programs this year. It doesn’t seem like Team Plushy’s choreographers know what to do with it.
Falling on the first 4T and then getting the second one backloaded and in combination is classic Trusova.

I like Kostornaia a lot, but skating after an explosive Trus is really lacking. That's a hard place for her to be in

Not sure about the program (I don’t know if it’s having to do everything virtually, but Bourne has been misfiring a lot this year), but the skating is looking much-improved compared to the test skates. Get the triple Axel back by nationals and we’ll be in business.

Well there is obviously still work to do! I don't know if it's injuries or body changes but you can see she's struggling just a little bit more compared to last year. Flexibility, rotation... Not much but a little. Still, always so

If Trusova has a clean landing on the 3A in the short and skates the free skate this well, no one can touch her scores including Scherbakova and Valieva. I feel so sorry for the kids who in any other country would be top 10 at the Olympics and won't get a chance.

It looks to me like Kostornaia just hasn’t been training as long as the other girls. With the late coach switch, supposed injury and getting a new long I am sure that’s a lot to do with it. I think virtual choreography is hurting a lot of people but I actually like this program for her. No yucky leg lifts and she can actually hold nice positions. It does look a bit empty but maybe a bit more will be added. I sure switching to this style of choreography and over video has been a challenge. I like the top of the dress but the bottom is not flattering, it looks like she’s wearing a nightgown. She needs something with a waist.
My biggest concern is she looks to have back problems. Both times the biellman looked wonky and like it was hard to do. I hope she lets it rest before the Olympics bc I think of the three As and honestly Kamilla as well, Kostornaia and Trusova have the best shots of actually surviving and making the team.
