Forum hiccuping?

I also seem to have dual indentity - Ladida and hanca. I have never created or used nickname Ladida. Unfortunately Ladida doesn’t have access to unpaid part of forum and therefore thanks to her I don’t have the access either.

Only an hour or so before all this identity switching happened, I was seriously trying to figure out how to run away from myself. I didn't even get temporary reprieve. :slinkaway

I keep getting something odd. Whenever I log into FSU's front page, it does it standard. But when I try to log into any forum directly from there, I get a notice saying "This page isn't working. Fsuniverse.net is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500." While this error message is being displayed, my URL is reading: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11
The way I find around it is to click onto the URL and backspace/delete the characters until it reads https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum , and it leads me into (for lack of a better term) Page 2. From there I can click onto any forum I wish. But.....what is causing it to require this (not-so) merry-go-round route ever since they did the upgrade?

Sorry to hear that (and again to everyone, sorry for the issues last night! Thank goodness you all found it amusing while I was asleep!)

@Server Guy will no doubt be along with a fix. Has this only started today?

I noticed it last night... I did not have any other poster ID, I was simply a guest. I wish I was another poster though... could have had so much fun with that.:EVILLE:

 unfortunately once you clicked in a forum, it would revert back to your own username!

Mine started only this morning but I am fixed now. It could have happened earlier, while I slept though.

Uh no, it's been like this ever since the upgrade. And not on any other forums I log onto, like {makes up a fictional site} www.(fill-in-the-blanks).com, just FSU. So it can't be something wrong with my computor.

Ever since the upgrade my employer's office has blocked this site or unable to connect because of security concerns.

OK, so here’s what happening here. When I go to the home page, I’m logged in as Dave of the North. But when I go to a sub-forum, or individual threads like this one, I am myself again. Odd. Hope this helps to track down issue.

The alerts button is still problematic - when clicked it just shows an error message saying "oops" thus you can't see the actual alert messages...

I am not now, nor have I ever been, Dave of the North. :p

When I go to the Forum Index, however, it indicates that the most recent thread in the Trash Can (The Dance Hall #5) was updated about eight hours ago. When I go to the Trash Can, however, it indicates that eight other threads have been updated since that thread.

Should be all sorted now guys, was just testing some stuff. Let me know if it persists. :)

Soooo, turns out what I thought was the issue was not actually the issue. Think I've identified the actual cause, do let me know if my hunch is correct. :D

Awesome, thanks!

Sorry for the distress, was just curious as to what caused the issue a few days ago so thought I would recreate what I did that day to figure it out. :)
