How hard is it to pronounce Shibutani? . And I prefer the closing ceremony uniforms but they look cute! the advantages of looking good with anything.

I know right. It’s not hard and they have been on before. I like both uniforms. They are much better than past years. But the gloves on the opening ceremony uniforms look big, bulky and annoying.

I'd say it is easy. Yesterday, I heard someone pronounce it as Shibunati. Clearly a malaprop but made me smile anyway

hahaha, wow, that is cool. I am glad the Shibs have some creative fans because I love them but I can´t even make a draw of them, let alone write a song and make a video

I don't think it is the people (Megyn kelly is not simple minded) but the genre. This was a three minute fun, feel good segment tying in with NBC's sponsorship of the Olympics. Very standardized. Nobody at NBC put much effort into it except maybe Megyn or the editors to keep her upright on the ice!

I suppose that we and the Shibs must accept that they will get this kind of comments for the rest of their career. I do not follow the Hougs siblings but they probably still get that kind of comments and questions from time to time to this day.
