Medvedeva just showed unless she has a massive brain fart why she will be the OGM
I am sure even if she did, the judges would give that element a level 4 with maximum GOE. I haven't been this bored with a potential OGM long program since Beatrix Schuba in 1972.

Actually it was her SP I was commenting on. That girl used every ounce of the music. Her body movement and fluidity is stunning. And the jumps do not miss. I couldn't take my eyes off her. Love it.
I've seen both programs. I haven't changed my opinion. I agree with you. With her technical ability and cool head for competition, she will win the OGM. I just don't care for her programs.

Zagitova and Medvedeva are competitors, that's for sure.
The race for the Olympic podium is potentially shaping up to be between them, Osmond, Daleman, Higuchi, Mihara, Chen, Kostner, and Wagner.
Exciting to think it is less than five months away.

Both programs are ridiculously boring. There is so much detail in the choreography yet none of them relate to the music.

I am not sure what others are seeing with Medvedeva. For me she is absolutely with the music all the way in that SP. There are nuances and details that I love. I was sucked in from start to finish.
Oh boy that entire program was almost unpleasant to watch.
