Timing is everything - I turned on the feed just as Nina was being introduced. I watched her skate and achieve the first Q. Then I've had time to feed the cat, deal with his "toilet area", get my coffee, and settle in

I had a good's night sleep too but missed the final 2 groups of the Jr FD in the CDN championships to accomplish that.

I strongly suspect those cups of tea get stronger and stronger as the afternoon progresses.

I’m half watching now and slightly annoyed I have to miss the last group to go to a funeral way out in the exurbs. A former donor and volunteer leader to both my and DH’s organization who was legendarily difficult to staff but she liked both of us. I want to pay my respects but wish it wasn’t so far away.

That's where you have DH drive and you can watch on the Peacock app on your phone from the passenger seat. Worse case scenario, if you're going alone, since we've got Chris' commentary, you stream Peacock through the Bluetooth to your car's stereo system. Not that I've ever streamed skating like that while driving anywhere...

I know the song is pretty bad but I have a huge soft spot for it as a Weaver/Poje fan.
