I don't totally disagree but I would say also that her jumps actually looked a lot better at nats. She was much tighter here.

I think the assessments of Thorngren's progress seem harsh. As a kid she was winning junior medals left and right. She since struggled with a growth spurt. She's getting through it. Some skaters quit in the same scenario. Maybe we should attempt to be supportive instead of tearing folks down all...

Well, Isabeau finished third in the free here and with an even slightly better short could have medalled. So, yeah, too soon to write her off, folks. The negativity towards her is repetitive and tiring.
