I was trying to search for some more information about Nagisa, I think she probably didn't compete internationally, but there were records from domestic competitions. She was originally training in Grand Prix Tokai Skating Club (in Nagoya, where Mao once trained). She might have retired in either 2017~2018.

I'll add more information when I find some more.

There were 'hints' about the type of music in the earlier interview: opera, classical music, and jazz. Another hint is that, during this period of preparation, I think Mao has been taking ballet lessons regularly (from a Japanese professional ballet dancer). So I'm looking forward to at least some ballet-related programs!!

I started skating when I was 11 years old, and as an athlete I was able to compete in singles and pairs. After becoming an instructor I also studied ice dancing. "BEYOND" is a show that interweaves the best of these three categories.

In this show, I am challenging the pair program with our 'chairman' Mao-chan. I hope that you will pay attention to the soft, graceful and delicate expression that is typical of figure skating, and enjoy the perfect program created by the two of us!

The members have strong personalities (laughs), so welcome to the show that we created as a team, working hard together.

After the last tour, I had time to think about various things. What I thought was that "my skating life is not over yet". So I decided to create a new show from scratch.

BEYOND contains my determination to "evolve beyond my past self". I will do my best to skate with all my heart so that this show will give you the strength to overcome something in your daily life.

With 10 members, we have overcome hard practice while always saying "BEYOND!" You can see our feelings in every moment, clear like a crystal, as we will deliver the world of BEYOND to everyone all over the country. Please enjoy yourself.

News 詳細 - 浅田真央アイスショー「BEYOND」

浅田真央アイスショー「BEYOND」BEYOND 何度だって立ち上がる。これは、私たちの進化の物語。

Mao Asada ice show "BEYOND" cast skater Ernesto Martinez will be absent from the following performances due to injury:

- September 10 (Sat.) to 11 (Sun.), 2022, Shiga performance
- September 17 (Sat.) to 19 (Mon.), 2022, Aomori performance

As I understood, the performances in Shiga and Aomori will be held as scheduled. They had to rebuild the BEYOND program and adjust it to the temporary absence of one member.

So they apologize for any possible inconvenience and thank everyone for understanding.

PS. He was absent from Haruka's birthday photos (August 31) and Ryo's practice group photo on Instagram so this didn't happen just the other day, I guess. Damn... ☹ Well, at least they had some time to prepare, and EM is expected to get better by the beginning of October (let's hope so).
