Loena is enough of a better skater in terms of jumps and maturity that I’m ok with the result. But none of the final three really enthralled me the way Kaori does. Isabeau on a good day is a more interesting skater as well.
No they didn't.Tech panel was very selective today. Got it right and made some hard calls in places, then completely ignored the obvious in others.
Pinzarrone needs to flee those Belgian taxes and go to her paternal homeland maybeNo Italy on the podium
Yes, she has. Her spins and speed cost her on her PCS scores. But, to come back and skate for silver here after the early part of the season is a real accomplishment. I know very well that she wouldn't even make the reserve team in Russia and I never expected to see her skate at a major ISU event much less earn a gold and silver medal.I'm not so sure - hasn't she had serious back problems?
Nice to see Gubanova being so gracious to Loena on the couch.
The judges did that too by giving Loena a 7 point PCS advantage.Tech panel hitting Pinzarrone with q's to give it to Loena.
FSU Post of the Year to Date! Not quite there yet, Belgian Eve Harrington. Better luck next time!
Agh ok that makes sense. It does show in her skating.I'm not so sure - hasn't she had serious back problems?

Ah that explains why I fell asleep during her lp.Chris says Anastasiia like anestesia, and it bothers me is a reminder that I have skip work since Wednesday and I left my husband to deal with my patients
That makes sense - both Mauritius & Vietnam were French colonies - I looked & he's Mauritian, Vietnamese, & Chinese ethnicity. That's not mutually exclusive, like many places, it's a serious melting pot. I have friend who's Chinese-Vietnamese from Borneo for instance.
As for his accent, a lot of people, Brits included, say something that sounds more "Yah" than "Yes". In French he sounds 100% French, close to Received Pronunciation.
