Where would Ross Minor have come in if he had competed at world's?

Say, I know that Ross said no to the chance to complete in Italy this weekend, he and his girlfriend were surely spending quality time celebrating their faith and devotion. But if he had gone and competed, I believe that he would of had a good change at coming near the medals and not only because there were so many terrible falls by the men who were competing.

Ross has a total top score of over 260 points, that would of been enough to finish in fourth. But with the power of quads and the self confidence he must have now that he knows his girlfriend is watching him and caring about every moment, I think he could get an even bigger score. Too bad we didn't all get to see just how big Ross can get when he's excited in the heat of passion!!

My prediction is 269 points, just shy of the bronze but we will never know. It is still fun to speculate and chat about it, so what do other's think about Ross if he had been there?

I am actually very disappointed in Ross!! I don't think he has been training at all and should of told USFSA he was withdrawing as an alternate. Grant could of been named an alternate in case Vincent needed to withdraw. Although Grant may be too busy planning his wedding! I hope they are serving well-seasoned enchiladas.

I am not sure either would of compared to Max here. He is a real man that could show up after only training for a week. Max is truly the man that will fight for your honor.

I certainly do not begrudge Ross Miner for declining Worlds after being slotted down three positions by USFS. 2nd place to 2nd alternate constitutes an extreme slap in the face and a snarky "Don't let the door hit you on your way out, Ross."

Who knows where Ross would have placed at Worlds? Almost no one placed where expected.

How macho any given skater is doesn't prove anything. Ross Miner has been a credit to his sport and was undeserving of the disrespect his governing body showed (and the tone of many postings in recent threads.)

I think he would have made the free and placed somewhere in the teens. I didn't see all the guys, but I believe he would've been able to do better than Boyang's meltdown at least. I don't think he would have been as high as 10th since Brezina ended up 10th and he skated quite well for himself (and well for Brezina is better than well for Miner, usually).

Hi, Caroll, I thought I read in an interview that Ross and Heidi use Lift not Uber. They are worried about the self driving cars, I heard those killed someone in Arizona which is just next to New Mexico where my wife and I live. So I dont think Ross uses ubers!

In my opening message at the top of this page, I said this is fun to chat and speculate. My wife and I think it is fun. If someone would of started a post called "What do you find attractive in a man," I would not post in it because now that I am with my forever wife I do not believe in SSA (same sex attractions). It is a thing of the past, like my time in the navy.

But maybe other's would enjoy chatting and speculating and I would not want them to stop just because I had find no point of contributing or writing a message. So I am confused.

To seriously answer the question - Judging by the splatfest, Ross probably would've finished somewhere between Max and Vincent if he was clean. That's a big if. I would not have counted on him having a clean quad, though and it's also possible he would've had mistakes in his programs, dropping him further down. At this point, he doesn't have much credibility w/ international judges at big events, so there would've been no boost either.

I think there some ladies who might enjoy reading Mens' Fitness, but not my wife Bonnie! She only likes the magazines with the ladies who compete in the body-building. They have tanned skin, lots of gristle, and typically not much in the chest department. I find it confusing but Bonnie has always followed the sport!

I google'd the Maya Usova twitter and I do not think she had signed up for it yet! Or, at least, I can not find it with a search. I may try Bing later but right now I am waiting for a quasadilia to be finished in the cooker.
