The lack of top skaters on the ladies list is a bit sad. Liu (too young for anything), Ting, Glenn, Hanna (too young for senior events) and even Akari came out gangbusters at Sectionals proving that talent is still there. Apart from Liu, all of these skaters improved dramatically from their early season performances. Seeing as Tallinn and Zagreb are the last chances to get a SB besides 4CC, Jr Worlds, and Worlds, I would think/hope USFS and SC would want to send skaters like Amber Glenn, Larkyn Austman, Sarah Tamura, Allison Schumacher, and Sarah Maude Blanchard to give more chances to beef up their rosters for the GP. The assignments of Ting Cui and Megan Wessenberg are good also, but its kind of silly to assign Bradie and Mariah again when they have a good SB score and will likely have more chances at 4CC and Worlds if they want. It is time to throw old conservative strategy out the window and get smart...and Canada currently is fielding no team to either event. :/
On the men side, things look a lot better. Tim and Jimmy are in a not terrible position with their SB score, but could be higher. I think all of the CAN men are placed appropriately on the list already.
