Tired, Retired, or Full Steam Ahead (2019-20)

She [Polina Edmunds] just finished her junior year at Santa Clara University and has been seen practicing triples through Lutz via her Instagram stories. September 2018 article: https://olympics.nbcsports.com/2018/09/27/polina-edmunds-figure-skating/
This was posted on May 1st in the U.S. Ladies thread:
Polina posted a video of her landing her first 3Lz in 19 months.

She’s landed 3T, 2A-3T, 3F, 3Lo, and 3Lz thus far. It seems like she began training again only a few months ago.

Re-posting from the Finnish news thread:
Cecilia Törn announced on Instagram today that she has retired as a competitive skater. She seems to have been coaching and/or choreographing at various rinks in Finland this spring. As for Jussiville Partanen's plans, I don't know if he has found himself a new partner yet.

As many of you have already guessed, I have decided to end my competitive career. I can happily announce that it’s time to put my competition skates aside and share my knowledge from the other side of the barrier. I will not disappear from the skating world; I will keep on working with this sport in many different ways.

Thank you for all of you who followed me and whom I met during my career. You made it really special!

2014 Australian Olympian Brooklee Han wrote about her retirement today on Twitter (https://twitter.com/brookleeh95/status/1145645843527196672) and IG and thanked the many people who helped her throughout her career: https://www.instagram.com/p/BzXwpy-Hca-/
Excerpt:
I have been incredibly blessed to have spent the past nine years traveling the world doing something I truly love, and to have realized my childhood dream of becoming an Olympian. That being said, I did not achieve all of these things by myself. For nearly two decades now the majority of my incredible support system has remained unseen, so if you’ll bear with me a minute, I’d like to thank a few (dozen) people who helped and supported me throughout this incredible journey. ...
Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank my mum and dad, for encouraging me from a young age to dream big, for teaching me the importance of hard work and for doing everything they could to help their ambitious six year old, who fell in love with figure skating and told them she was going to the Olympics, to achieve her dreams.
It's always unfortunate when an athlete's final competition ends with a serious injury (ruptured Achilles tendon at 2019 4CC), but I'm glad she got to experience the Olympics & Worlds. She he's been taking ice dance tests with Logan Giulietti-Schmitt, according to this recent IG post, so it's good to see she is still setting goals and attaining them on the ice. :)
