blah blah transparency blah blah blah inclusion blah blah blah accountability. Then there's this:

Please note: The number of votes for each candidate will not be announced after the election at the AGM. Any
requests for detailed results will be handled by the President (Chair of the AGM) on a case-by-case basis.

Anyway, here's the information site for anyone who's interested and might meet the qualifications.

The current boards of directors is composed of

Karen Butcher
Glenn Fortin (2024-26)
Brenda Hart (2024-26)
Patty Klein (2023-25)
Gregor Maclean (2023-25)
Joni Mcphail (2023-25)
Andrew Poje (2024-26)
Patrick Roch (2023-25)
Ravi Walia (2023-25)
Tracy Wilson (2024-26)
Shawn Winter (2024-26)
Catherine Wood (2024-26)

The 6 positions up for election are Regional Director Ontario (currently Mcphail), Regional Director Atlantic (currently Mclean) and 4 Directors at Large (Klein, Roch and Walia are up this year. So also someone with a 2024-26 is stepping down earlier).

Off topic, but Skate Canada just announced the locations of its main events next season:

Skate Canada International (10/31-11/2): Saskatoon, SK

Canadian Nationals (1/5-1/11 2026): Gatineau, QC (suburb of Ottawa)
As you may have noticed elsewhere, people get a little uptight if you call Gatineau a suburb - it is a city in its own right and is located in a different province (across the Ottawa River) :)

I worked for a couple of years in Gatineau before it was Gatineau (in Hull). It was mind-boggling to me, normally living on Vancouver Island where the nearest province is about 1000km and a 2 hour ferry ride away, that I was living in one province and biking to work in another in about 20 minutes. It was way faster to bike than take the bus, because there are 2 different bus systems and there were only a couple of buses (from the different systems) that went across the bridges, and the routes were rather convoluted.
