Sad news ?

As a kid a watched Papermoon and totally adored Tatum O'Neal.

He made some great movies and had some awful tragedies in his personal life, but he also allegedly was abusive to some of the women he was involved with. I hope he is at peace now.

Streisand was still young here and was 100% receptive to taking directions from Peter. I'm sure in later years, she would be directly telling the director how the scene should be staged, LOL.

Yah, it starts with one of my favourite scenes. I like to see the interaction between them all.

I posted this last year when Cloris Leachman passed - the fact Peter's instincts were such that he felt she needed only to do the one take of this closing scene of "The Last Picture Show"... he was right.

RIP.....his first movie was his greatest---like Orson Welles. He had a great decade before the tragedy with Dorothy Stratten. I was glad to see him surface again in The Sopranos.
