Ah, they were great in their roles. I know it's odd to have one thread commemorating two deaths, it's that their passing was so close together time-wise, and their shared time on such a memorable sitcom. Markie's Christine was such a perfect foil for Dan Fielding's lecherous nature, and Charles's Max was great as the only straight guy in a court full of odd-balls. https://cbc.ca/news/entertainment/markie-post-dead-1.6134611 https://nbcnews.com/news/obituaries/charles-robinson-night-court-actor-dies-75-n1273803

Rest in Peace both of them . I used to watch the reruns of this show so many times as a kid. It was so much fun.
IiRC Harry Anderson passed not to long ago too. :(

Loved Night Court. One of my most memorable TV moments was from Night Court. The public defender was objecting to the judge getting the job because “no one else was at home”. He looks at her and says “My name WAS on that list” Not sure why I remember that moment so much but it was a great moment and a great show. R.I.P.

He did. I've heard that there have been talks about rebooting that show. I really wish they wouldn't. The cast was so perfect.
