International Adult Figure Skating Competition, October 14-20, 2019, Lake Placid USA

I'm guessing the Kim Campbell from Canada (Silver Ladies Artistic 1) is not the former Prime Minister

Here's a recent article on Stephanie Roth (who's competing in Elite Masters Ladies FS Class I) in Lake Placid: https://usfigureskatingfanzone.com/...e-roth-earns-her-spot-in-skating-history.aspx
Excerpt:
Highlights of Roth's amateur career include winning the 2006 U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships, qualifying for the U.S. Figure Skating Championships on several occasions and representing the United States at the 2007 Winter Universiade (World University Games). After her competitive successes and a stint as a show skater for Royal Caribbean Cruises, Roth went on to pursue her current career as a skating coach and personal trainer.
"My skaters come first, and sometimes that means I give up my chosen practice time. A good off ice regimen keeps me feeling strong and responsive for when I do get to skate," she said.
After back surgery and a hiatus from performing, she returned to the competitive scene as an adult skater for the 2016-17 competitive season.
"I decided to compete again because I missed doing shows. I never stopped skating, but I like my skating to have a purpose and a goal," Roth said.
ETA: I remember her powerful skating well from when she competed at Nationals... she stood out because her aggressive style was about as far away from "princess or ballerina" as one could get!

Quick little blurb about the event over at the USFS Fan Zone:

ISU International Adult Figure Skating Competition Kicks Off in Lake Placid This Week

One hundred fifty-seven American adult figure skaters will vie for the podium this week in New York.

One hundred fifty-seven Americans are set to compete at the 2019 International Adult Competition in Lake Placid, New York, from Oct. 16-19, 2019, at the historic Olympic Center. The event, sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), will feature competitors representing 13 nations. This event marks the first time that an ISU adult competition has been held in the United States.

"Adult skaters from all over the USA have been looking forward to competing at this top-tier event in one of the most historic rinks in the country," said Aviva Cantor, Chair, U.S. Figure Skating Adult Skating Committee. "U.S. Figure Skating is committed to supporting skaters of all ages, levels and disciplines. The skaters have a great deal of support going into this competition. We all look forward to watching them compete, achieve goals and make lasting memories. Best of luck to all of the competitors, including the 13 Adult Skating Committee members who have registered for the event."

Over the four-day competition, skaters (who must have reached the age of 28 by July 1, 2019, to be eligible to compete) will vie for titles in free skating, artistic free skating, pairs free skating, pairs artistic free skating and ice dance (pattern dance, rhythm dance and free dance).

I was looking for the results but couldn’t find them. Anyone have a link?

I don’t think they are up yet. We got our own individual protocol sheets there but that’s it. Of course, I’m currently sitting in the customs line in Detroit so I don’t have the most up to date info.

Results will probably take... ~a while~ to get online. Communication and use of technology was not a strong suit of the LOC.

Ha! I have only heard about the EW. I have personally experienced the Fiesta....having both a mohawk and a cross-behind (not to mention the end pattern that gave me flashbacks to the 8-step mohawk) in the same dance should be banned. :yikes:
All cross-behinds should be banned, in my opinion.
