HOW DID THE IDEA FOR PARTNER SKATING COME ABOUT?

Say,I was just wondering about that? HOW did and WHO did come up with the idea for Partner Skating, for BOTH Ice-Dance and Pairs?

I don’t know, FSWer. Probably happened in the 1600s or 1700s when people were skating on frozen rivers.

I don't know but for sure it's very natural. When you skate alone, you want to try things with someone else, synchro.

It started when someone was learning how to skate and another person helped them. They started skating together because one was holding the other person up. It just evolved from there!
