Ok everyone. Here is my report from the Rink today...Another great Skate. I did a few jumping jacks in the lobby before taking the ice. I then met Nick for the 12:40 Public Skate, and he worked with me on what he calls 2 foot dips with arms overhead, and marching with big knee bends.(I practiced that a little more before getting off ice, and found myself getting better). He also had me turn my left and right foot (one at a time) in and out, to help with doing Swizzles. He says at this point that I'm working on Level 1 and some things in Level 2. So he says I'm making some progress. He also mentioned about me being in a S/O Competition at some point. As well as a possible Holiday Show. I also have some news for you all. I did what some of you suggested, and asked him about becoming a Solo Ice-Dancer...and he says that is a possible option for me, and that anything is possible. So what do you all think of that!!! I also told him I just found a couple of Dance move DVD's that I thought might help me with my training and skating, and he said those will help a lot!! Before getting off ice I practice an Ice-Dance move that another coach taught me, and WILL need to practice. But I think I'm going to turn out to be a Skater that skates and Ice-Dances better with the right kind of music. So that's all for today.
