I thought I'd post this here, not because I think anybody will have happened to have been at Neuschwanstein in the last 3 days, but because there are so many travel-enthusiastic North Americans here, so maybe someone has some ideas on where to share this:

As I understand the Police is also interested in collecting as many tourist photos and videos from the afternoon as possible, where the victims or the attacker might have been on camera by chance in order to be able reconstruct the day better. So far only about 15-20 people uploaded material, probably because this was mostly reported in Germany and most visitors at Neuschwanstein are tourists. Unfortunately it seems the portal to upload images and videos to seems to be only in German so far, but hopefully they'll change that.

According to the initial police investigation, the suspect met the two female tourists, Americans ages 21 and 22, on a hiking path and lured them onto a trail that leads to a viewpoint near Neuschwanstein castle.
