And so we go from a season without competitions to an off-season without shows.

I will deal with the ennui by doing some reading. Toward that end, I have compiled a list of figure skating books I cannot wait to read. Here is what I have so far:

Peter Oppegard: A Pain in the Neck, by Jessica Pfund
My Life-Changing Trip to Japan, by Evgenia Medvedeva
Solving Your Psychological Problems, by Eteri Tutberidze
Putting Away Childish Things, by Yuzuru Hanyu
Turn Your Exhibition Program into a Free Skate, by Marin Honda
Earn Your Own Grand Prix Medal!, by Minzhi Jin
My Turn, by Anna Vernikov, edited by Evgeni Krasnopolski
A Party to Remember, by Alena Leonova
Winning Music for Winning Programs, by Mariah Bell
How I Chose That Short Program and Why I Will Never Use It Again, by Mako Yamashita
The Cohesive Program, by Ksenia Tsibinova
Stamina Made Easy, by Evgeni Rukavicin
Consistency: Your Springboard to the World Team, by Karen Chen
Stockholm Syndrome, by Simon Proulx-Sénécal

As always, I would like to know what figure skating books you cannot wait to read. New releases only, please. During you-know-what, I read through my entire collection, including Sangfroid, by Kévin Aymoz, several times. ;)

You’re so funny, I was lying in bed last night thinking to start this exact same thread since the season is over. I’ll get back to you on the titles that I’ve ordered soon

A Figure Skating Judging Manual, crowdsourced and crowdfunded by Fanyus.

Paint it Black by Nathan Chen (in fact he should skate to this for the lols).

The Stoic Skater (sequel to Sangfroid) by Kevin Aymoz.

Masks for Every Occasion by Team Russia.

I want to say Eteri's Flowers are in the Attic but I am not sure who should write this masterpiece.

Forward by Michelle Kwan (or am I the only one who remembers her 1999 exhibition to TRV?)
