The event raised over $700,000 and some continuing related events are targeting an additional $300,000.

For those who cycle, Evenpoel got “doored” today on a training ride. He has severe injuries and probably will be off the bike/trainer for 8 weeks.

For those who cycle, Evenpoel got “doored” today on a training ride. He has severe injuries and probably will be off the bike/trainer for 8 weeks.

It was earlier this week. Broken ribs, shoulders and some torn ligaments is pretty gnarly. Getting doored is my greatest fear when cycling; I’ve had some close calls.

He seems pretty positive about the recovery process. Impressed that he’s matured enough to not drag the lady who did it (at least not yet).
