We've had an eagle cam thread here for the last few years.

In 2014, a pair of mated Bald Eagles chose the most idyllic of nest sites within the United States’ National Capital (Washington, DC), nestled high in a Tulip Poplar tree amongst the Azalea Collection at the U.S. National Arboretum, which is operated by the United States Department of Agriculture. This is the first Bald Eagle pair to nest in this location since 1947. The two Eagles have been iconically named “Mr. President” and “The First Lady.” Join us in viewing the most patriotic nest cam in the United States, 24 hours a day.
The first egg "hatched at 8:27 a.m. March 18, 2016 Eastern Daylight Time. Pipping is underway for the 2nd egg..."

I just saw a few snowflakes drifting down...

You made me look

10.20am here, 6.20am there, it's dark and the eagle is wide awake, so is the chick which keeps popping out only to be pushed back under her feathers :)

Meet Freedom and Liberty, the two baby bald eagles who were born this spring at the National Arboretum, and just got new names.
After a nearly week-long contest that was open to the public, eagle experts with several private groups and government agencies picked the names and made the announcement Tuesday. The eaglets had been referred to as DC2 and DC3 after they were born in March to Mr. President and The First Lady.

Thanks for posting! I love these nature cams. One of my favorites is the Bear cams at Katmai National Park in Alaska. They are active in the summer. One day I had non-stop boring conference calls at work and had the bear cam on my screen all day watching the bears catch salmon on the falls. So amazing! Also happy 100th anniversary to the National Park Service.
