Sure, because she is going to get UK citizenship within the next 9 months that’s left before the Olympics.

ETA: are we talking about olympics 2022 or 2026? When exactly did she get married? To apply for the citizenship through being married to the British citizen, she would have to be married for 3 years…

There is always the option to skate for Ukraine if she finds a partner. Getting the citizenship/release may be easier that way.
