Not really a good idea unless they are slightly injured ?
Eh. If there is one team that doesn't need the hassle and headache of traveling for the GPF (and potential quarantine restrictions on return to China), it's Sui/Han. Why go and potentially lose to one or more of the Russian teams plus lose valuable training time? Let the Russians go and duke it out, then let them tire themselves out some more at RusNats and Euros. Meanwhile, Sui/Han can show up well-rested and prepared in Beijing for the TE SP and potentially beat whichever team Russia puts out there.

This makes sense.

Sui/Han have shown in the past that they don't need the routine of competing regularly to show up and deliver at major competitions.

I suspect that the new travel restrictions to Japan and China's zero-C19 policy have all but put the final nail in the coffin when it comes to Sui/Han's participation in the GPF.

Not the GPF but I wonder if Pavlyuchenko / Khodykin could pull a surprise and bump B&K off the Russian Olympic team? Since they consider more than Nationals it probably wouldn't happen even if they beat them at Nationals though.
