2026 Canadian Championships - Senior Pairs SP & FS

I was surprised DM finished 2nd. Their program was a disaster IMHO. It sucked to be honest (sorry but I know they can do better).

I would have placed them in 4th (in the LP) after Kemp and her partner. Not sure they should be on the Oly team but I am sure the decision was made carefully considering their past performances which makes sense. I hope they do well!

Watching the pairs free on the main cbc now. After watching Lia and Trennt’s Gladiator again I just wanted to comment about how clear it is that they have progressed substantially in terms of components and overall artistry since they did this program 2 years ago. There is really nice nuance and musicality that I don’t think was there back then.

While they have been struggling technically, they have improved their all around skating. That was actually quite a nice performance (tech issues aside).

Did we ever find out what happened with that jump for Max & Deanna? Who screwed up the pattern for that?? It was one of the most bizarre mistakes I've ever seen in a program...
