Who will medal?
Would love that. They’re my favorite skaters in this field. It could be a Japan sweep.
Agreed but it would be more dramatic if a dark horse came along and broke up the party.Would love that. They’re my favorite skaters in this field.
That works for drama!I don't see the Japanese women sweeping with Chaeyeon Kim there to muddle things up and Alysa, Sarah & Maddie there to play spoiler and capitalize on any mistakes made by the likely top 4.
You can always go back to this one. Sylvia kindly pointed out the link to me in the fall. I don't think there are any mistakes.I just want to watch Rino Matsuike's LP withoput any mistakes ! It's just so, so beautiful.
We got to see this FS! That was so exciting. So happy for Bradie and her silver medal. She's one tough cookie. While I don't see her medalling here, I would love to see how Bradie Tennell would fare if she were to finally execute her FS without glaring errors. I think the international judges are still waiting for her to deliver this season. I specifically remember that had she not popped her second 3Lutz pass, she would've won Skate America. Similarly, I remember that the mistakes she made at NHK arithmetically cost her a medal.
Your thoughts...
She looked entirely exhausted at the end of her free skate. Maybe she had been ill and not recuperated. Wishing her a better result at Worlds.RE: Mone Chiba -- The second she looks to me to be on the cusp of reaching that highest echelon, gravity brings her back down to Earth.
I really thought she'd medal -- even stealthily challenge Kaori and Loena for the title! -- at Worlds last year after finishing 2nd at Japanese Nationals and then winning Four Continents.
This season, she was killer at the Grand Prix Final, only to fail to medal at Japanese Nationals (which I kinda sorta forgave since it was so close to the Grand Prix Final) and here at Four Continents.
