I am flying in on Tuesday morning Jan 6th and have 5 nights booked at the Magnolia downtown - 19 minute walk to the Enterprise Center according to Google Maps. I was planning on taking an Uber to the Centene Center from the airport to watch Juniors. Does anyone know if there will be any place...
I believe that after they "fixed" the fee issue yesterday, the fees are only lower if you bought a single P2 or P3 ticket, but higher if you bought anything else, and much higher for those buying multiple tickets. Those who bought 4 tickets before they "fixed" the problem got a steal!
I couldn't find my receipt from last year for Columbus, but my credit card was charged $1935.80 for 2 front row seats, which would be equivalent to P1. So $967.90 each, with all taxes and fees included. This year, it is $1080, or $810 if you got the Worlds 25% discount, before fees.
I didn't get the coupon code popup either, but it looks like the price shown was already the discounted price as outlined in the email. And bummer that it's a fixed transaction fee regardless of the number of tickets. Seems like a rip-off if you're only buying one ticket.
Was your "discount code" for FOFS or for 25% off from buying Boston Worlds tickets?
Thanks for sharing your buying experience. Great info! I'll hope for the best when I try and buy my tickets tomorrow.
Congratulations to Katey Nyquist - named the new head coach of Miami University's varsity synchronized skating program!

Thanks for the skating info! I'm trying to decide whether or not to pack my skates. I see that skates are in the approved carry on list for both US and Canada, so at least I don't have to worry about checking them.
I'm staying at the Marriott Chateau Champlain and the Atrium 1000 is right next...
Does anyone know if it's possible to change to mail tickets vs will call after the fact? Was so busy trying to get the tickets purchased in the allotted time that didn't even notice the delivery options. Just assumed it would be digital in this day and age.
