This plus SafeSport sometimes suspends while investigating even (eg John Coughlin) to protect athletes. If the evidence is strong enough they must take action or are held accountable for any crimes committed that they could have prevented.

They can launch their own but whether the victims want to participate or not is a different question.

Hockey Canada is part of OSIC which also investigates figure skating grievances in Canada so it is interesting to see how the Hockey Canada case was mishandled by OSIC when looking at current figure skating cases before OSIC. Unless the case was “resolved” before they joined OSIC in 2022?

That’s absolutely right but I must have missed the memo on all of the evidence of him not being innocent. Is there a thread on that? Fajfr absolutely should have been removed ages ago and the evidence available publicly was pretty clear. I just haven’t seen (or missed) similar evidence on Dönsdorf.
