Very disapointing outing from Fentz with 26th place out of 33 participants and no qualification for the FS. So no spot secured for the Olympics and the pressure will be on to still get the spot at Nebelhorn Trophy. The 2nd spot in pairs is surely gone as well, the points gap is too big for H/K...

I wouldn't rely on that list. German Nationals are still listed as taking place in Hamburg and World Juniors as not cancelled, so this list obviously isn't up to date.

What about Charise Matthaei for Nüchtern? She is still listed in EK, so still searching for a partner as it seems. Hess seems to be injured, no idea why Pavlova ist still listed, is she considering to keep skating for Germany? If so, I cannot imagine her finding a partner. Thomalla is still...

DEU updated the national team envelope on 9th November and Shari Koch is not listed anymore, so I think this means that she ended her career. :(

I'm quite sure that DEU will change the criteria and allow this competition to count for Euros, too. There are so few international competitions left that this would be the only logical move.

I agree, very nice skate from him! He couldn't afford making a mistake without having a 3A in his program. He made the most of it possible. So 2nd warm-up group in the FS. I'm not very optimistic though for his FS. With only 3 different triples, he won't be able to hold onto this 17th place. But...

Very nice short program from Heß, even better than at Bavarian Open with 76.35 points. Really good development from him this season artistically. He got better PCS than Fentz :eek:!

When did Hess met the technical scores? He is in his 3rd year in PK, so he would need twice 210 points, he never scored this high, he wasn't even close to that. But I'm quite sure that DEU will leave him in PK anyway as there is no other man (except Fentz) who scored higher from the Germans. DEU...
