    German Skating Season 2020-21

Oh, that really sucks! :( Pairs is the only discipline where it really hurts German Fed not having 2 spots for the Olympics. Maybe in Ice Dance it would be nice as well, but it is unrealistic to achieve for Müller/Dieck. In pairs it would have been so easy to archive if H/S hadn't been forced to...

    German Skating Season 2020-21

Very disapointing outing from Fentz with 26th place out of 33 participants and no qualification for the FS. So no spot secured for the Olympics and the pressure will be on to still get the spot at Nebelhorn Trophy. The 2nd spot in pairs is surely gone as well, the points gap is too big for H/K...

    German Skating Season 2020-21

I wouldn't rely on that list. German Nationals are still listed as taking place in Hamburg and World Juniors as not cancelled, so this list obviously isn't up to date.

    German Skating Season 2020-21

What about Charise Matthaei for Nüchtern? She is still listed in EK, so still searching for a partner as it seems. Hess seems to be injured, no idea why Pavlova ist still listed, is she considering to keep skating for Germany? If so, I cannot imagine her finding a partner. Thomalla is still...

    German Skating Season 2020-21

DEU updated the national team envelope on 9th November and Shari Koch is not listed anymore, so I think this means that she ended her career. :(

    German Skating Season 2020-21

I'm quite sure that DEU will change the criteria and allow this competition to count for Euros, too. There are so few international competitions left that this would be the only logical move.

    German Skating Season 2020-21

No German men are listed anymore at CS Warsaw Cup, Dastich and Isaev were also taken out of the entry list today. Golden Spin will be postponed, anyone knows to which date exactly? If DEU sticks to its nomination criteria for Euros, that would leave only 2 more (for now not cancelled or...

    German Skating Season 2020-21

Wow, the ladies field is really big, nice to see that so many want to go! I'm so happy to see Dastich there, I'm really looking forward to see her comeback! Also nice to see Fentz on the entry list. I'm also wondering about the absence of Hess...He was there last year, but didn't have a great...

    German Skating Season 2020-21

I would love to see her too after such a long time without competing! And I'm really exited to see who will be competing at Nebelhorn Trophy this year, hopefully the entries will be up soon! Last year, there were Schott, Marold and Bock competing in ladies and Hess and Stoll in men. Bock is...

    German Skating News 2019/2020

Solid FS from Gurdzhi without any mayor mistakes. He ended up on 20th place. I very much dislike that he wasn't even risking a 4th different triple jump. Having just 3Lo, 3S and 3T is simply not competitive in this field, sorry! It was clear that with this jumping layout he wouldn't be able to...

    German Skating News 2019/2020

Oh man, if the pair spin at the end of H/K's FS had counted and would have gotten level 4, they would have made 3rd place :(. Anyway 4th place is a great achievement!

    German Skating News 2019/2020

I agree, very nice skate from him! He couldn't afford making a mistake without having a 3A in his program. He made the most of it possible. So 2nd warm-up group in the FS. I'm not very optimistic though for his FS. With only 3 different triples, he won't be able to hold onto this 17th place. But...

Isaev got the technical minimum score in the SP for Worlds!:respec:

    German Skating News 2019/2020

Very nice short program from Heß, even better than at Bavarian Open with 76.35 points. Really good development from him this season artistically. He got better PCS than Fentz !

    German Skating News 2019/2020

When did Hess met the technical scores? He is in his 3rd year in PK, so he would need twice 210 points, he never scored this high, he wasn't even close to that. But I'm quite sure that DEU will leave him in PK anyway as there is no other man (except Fentz) who scored higher from the Germans. DEU...
