Since Sherry has competed senior in qualifying competitions, including nationals, I don’t think she’s allowed to compete in the normal junior category. I assume she’s competing junior here to test out her programs for the JGP. I remember we saw the same thing for Josephine Lee 2 years ago.

I wouldn’t call guys coming up from juniors low achievers at all. They’re 5-10 years younger and thus at a different stage in their development.

But Ceder was the one chosen for worlds and earned the all important Olympic spot.

If I were the Finnish Fed, I’d give Karhunen and Ceder the initial host spots, with the final one TBD.
