Gerke and Gartung seem talented juniors. Are their coaches well known in the sport? Would Gartung pick up the pace if he was with a big-deal coache - Orser, Aritunian, etc.

I went back to some of Karen`s skates from 2017 and later. She was a lovely skater. It wasn`t a very fun time with so much domination by the Russian ladies. That she got 4th in two world championships is remarkable.

USFS should sponsor some kind of multi-year tour for Alysa and Ilia - maybe others too. Go 2 rinks around the country demo-ing, teaching, talking with kids. For the first time in a long time we have a couple of skaters young people could see themselves as.

I liked Angela Wang`s skating. Sorry she couldn`t get it going further. Didn`t she do cruise ships for a while? Christina Gao was another lovely skater that should have gone further.

Grassl used to have skates like this half the time. I think this one might be a one off. He`s certainly skating better than he ever has this season.
