I think i'm going to be seriously depressed after Worlds. Skating will not be the same without Carolina, Mao and Akiko. They are the only skaters who are a joy to watch
Seriously so excited to see Carolina once more in Japan. Really hope she can skate well again like Sochi. Not sure if the 3F+3T will work again in the short program, but hopefully the component marks are fair and correct now that olympic russian inflation is over. Carolina, Mao and Akiko...
The Ave Maria program looked to me like a short program. She started straight away and went to 3T ( eventual 3t+3t ), the it looked like she was going around for 3lo but then did a spiral instead. I wouldnt be surprised if she has changed her sp to this ave maria.
Scheherazade is clearly...

Carolina deserves the components she receives. Her skating are are second to none. Transitions could obviously be better. Performance+choreography+interpretation are far superior to any lady in the past decade (exception maybe for kwan)
When executed to her ability her jumps are the best...
Im sure the program overall looked better in person than on the bad quality video.Yes, she had many obvious mistakes that i'm sure she will be able to clean up. The step sequence was amazing, deserving of a +3 GOE in my opinion. Less PCS marks than i expected
Short program was great...
Carolina is on the entry List for Golden Spin in Zagreb. Other big name skaters on the entry list are Yuna Kim, Adelina Sotnikova, Valentina Marchei and Jenna Mckorkell
Just had a friend in Oberstdorf and he says that Carolina is skating to "Bolero" for what he thought was a short program. He said that the step sequence is amazing
As much as i would be sad if Carolina chose to retire now, it may be a good move. And if she is not skating well enough to possibly match her brilliant last season, i would be disappointed all the time
I want her to stay, but only if she continues to skate well like this past season. We dont...
