This comment hit the nail right of the head. The program is ... tacky. Hard to believe all that effort is reduced to something tacky (and somewhat laughable). On the other hand, I've seen glimpses of true refinement and class in their Free. In the end, the judges will put them in first place...

I think they deserved to win the GPF this year. I think it was clear they skated the best FD; the ending spin is pretty innovative, risky and done well. I'll be at Worlds in Boston in March to see the FDs of all the top teams - I can't wait. With the Shibs gaining momentum and the Italians...

I thought the Rach FD rocked! Madison's early minor stumble ruined the trance I was in at the beginning of the program. The dance will only get better. The SD is just OK. Not sure I like the gypsy-style costumes a waltz dance.

Nice for Madison and Evan to be in first after short at 4CC. I would have had Shibs 1st, CB 2d, GP 3d and WP 4th.

The most excellent part of the CB story this year is Igor's smile, nod and overall level of unfettered, pure satisfaction at the kiss n' cry at the Cup of Russia. Good for him.

The free dance is excellent. The best so far this season. The first lift is just Wow! The two dance step sequences are by far the most entertaining of the bunch this season. Congrats to Igor. He'll have his champion team this year!

I just watched CL's free dance and I must say it wreaks of Marina's Seasons choreography (in look and feel also) and seems dated! I think its weaker than WP's free. I'm calling CB the team with the best free dance this year (haven't seen the Russians, yet) both technically (speed, especially)...

I think CB's free is very good. World medal worthy and if done really well, maybe of the gold variety. It will be interesting to see whether the judges will permit yet another American couple to top the podium so soon after Meryl and Charlie.
