The closest hotel within walking distance is the Union Station Hotel. It's a really cool place to stay and very historic. Also many cool attractions nearby. They're currently not offering rooms for sale for the event dates, so I am positive this will be the host hotel or one of the main hotels...

It is. I go to hockey games there all the time. It’s a nice, modern arena. I’m not too cold at hockey games, but a skating event may be different? Hopefully it’ll be warmer than Columbus and Allen (Skate America). ??
