Hmm. Likely won't be deciding on this until MUCH closer to event time, if I bother at all.
In 2016, after the initial booking I individually "upgraded" to closer Loge seating in the weeks leading up to the event (and even at the event itself). Worked well, but was $$$. Thing I liked about that...
Wow...so reading the last three or so pages here is bringing back memories. I remember those days on skate forums. Folks really took this stuff seriously back then, that's for sure (and to be honest, I was no exception). I remember there were big fan projects put together for both Tara Lipinski...

Say what you will about Wagner, but definitely can't accuse her of "not fulfilling potential"...
I'm not sure what her strategy was this year, but the overall outcome isn't really much of a surprise to me honestly. After all, 2010 and 2014 were low(er) points in her career, too.
Regardless...
While I fully agree with this, everyone has to start somewhere. I - we, actually - have no idea whether Wagner wants to be a commentator, interviewer, host, correspondent, writer, researcher, etc. All require different skill sets, and it would depend on what she wants to do, and what she is good...
The issue with Lipinski IMO isn't her voice so much as what she says and when she says it. I think she has much potential, which she showed when starting out - I thought she was very good at relating the scoring system and translating it to the viewer (along with her personal experience). So I...
