Honestly from the little I've gotten to see of the team event, all the hubbub about the music rights is even more insane considering you can barely tell there's music playing between the incessant commentary and the horrible microphones embedded in the ice. You can barely tell there's music...

If it is a concussion, which I speculated it might be (or a hairline fracture) in the Canadian pairs thread, at least it doesn't sound as dire as the one Totmianina suffered at Skate America. It could still be quite serious, but they haven't indicated she's being hospitalized for days on end...

San Jose hosted 3 times in 12 years. I think that was a bit of over-exposure on top of it being a more expensive destination. Greensboro and Vegas also had drops in attendance after several short repeat visits for big events.

Evan has had back issues this whole Olympic cycle. If you have Netflix and have seen "Glitter and Gold" it's given some airtime about their preparation for SKAM (where he skated ailing) and the GPF.

I concur that brief interview with Maddie Schizas doesn't sound promising that Deanna and Max will compete in the individual event. Even if it isn't a worst case injury, something like a hairline fracture or mild concussion shouldn't be rushed or ignored when it comes to the healing process.
