That's a bit sad as she withdrew 2 weeks before the comp start date (that we became aware of, at least).

It may not be allowed in the SP in juniors. They have more restrictions than seniors. People here who follow juniors more than can verify the rules though.

Very weird Minsol is not cleared for international comps. But at least Skate Canada is getting Daleman an international to try and get her minimums. She looked in decent shape at the recent comp she did (better than I expected anyway).

I think the boot issue would be more worrisome, but Alyssa seems to roll with the punches like no skater I can remember. Last season had to have been an amazing roller-coaster, but she still seems very grounded. I don't see her suddenly evolving into a headcase, but who knows? 🤷‍♂️

The judges were obviously still high off their "I'm too Sexy" camp classic RD. Even if their skills are modest, that dance is a triumph of "so bad it's good" and the only memorable RD I've seen so far this season.
