2023-24 US Pairs Discussion - Chan you count Howe many teams we have?

Is Matthew Kennedy 21 already? If so, too old to compete juniors internationally. I am trying to figure out which US pairs, if any, are age-eligible for Youth Olympic Games. Are Audrey Park and Carter Griffin still skating together? USA is eligible for two pairs spots at YOG.

Grand Prix 2023-24 Season Potential Assignments

The new ISU Communication No. 2350 establishes a junior World Standing and World Ranking list starting next season, and assigns points for junior International Competitions. I assume that (new) points for junior ICs from 22-23 and 21-22 seasons will be added to the WS table. Which would boost...

2018 Skate Canada High Performance Camp

I wonder if Weaver/Pope will skate to the French version or the English version of the song. Brian Orser skated to the English version (Only the Very Best) for the 1996 Canadian Stars on Ice tour.

    U.S. Pairs 2018 - News & Updates, Part VIII

I never thought I'd see the day when the US would have more GP pair entries (11 + TBD) than Russia (10)!

From Russia with love [#29]: Spring 2018 and beyond

I think you nailed it. The problem with ladies is that there is a fairly consistent pattern of a young skater arriving on the scene shortly before the Olympics, winning the Olympic gold, and then by choice or because of injuries (overtraining?), disappearing. Not good for the athlete, not good...
