I read an article today that the best way to watch Heated Rivalry in Germany (we don’t have HBO Max yet) is to turn the VPN to Argentina, then sign up for HBO Max from Argentina (cause the price there is low) and then switch the VPN to the US to actually watch the show
Or just wait till...
I watched Russian ladies once a few years ago when Tuktamysheva still competed and she was the only competitor 18+. Everybody else looked similar and had the same program.
It made me sad what has become of it.
I use ExpressVPN and watched the geoblocked Grand Prix events with the VPN set to Spain (and I usually use DuckDuckGo as browser for YouTube, it has a player that for me seems to get of ads completely: https://duckduckgo.com/duckduckgo-help-pages/duck-player ). The Myanmar tip sounds great too.
Finland already has a female/female junior dance couple competing.
I think it’s a good way to maybe get more young female skaters to switch from singles to dance, when they realize they are not good enough jumpers, but might want to stay in the sport.
I looked at the entries at German...
Per his instagram Memola injured himself competing yesterday after falling on the quad lutz (pelvis felt really weird), he's having an MRI tomorrow after having x-rays yesterday and on top of that while waiting for his x-ray results, someone broke into his car and stole his skates and short...
I finished „Boots“, overall I really enjoyed it and now I got a crush on the actor who plays the drill sergeant Sullivan
Then I heard of a British drama series called „Trespasses“ which plays during the Troubles in Northern Ireland and Gillian Anderson is in it, unfortunately it’s only...
Yeah, I wasn’t planning to watch it, because I’m not crazy about military settings, but I kept reading only good reviews of it, so I changed my mind and I’m definitely enjoying it so far.
I also listened to a podcast yesterday that also recommended it and complained that the Pentagon called it...
I saw her ad for her house on Instagram and looked it up on the internet and was very surprised how cheap houses seem to be in this area of the US (of course I don’t know anything about Shreveport, maybe nobody really wants to live there).
It looked like this huge mansion (ok, very tasteless...
I just finished an anime series: "The Summer Hikaru died" on Netflix, that was really moving and special, I loved it!
Now I started "Wayward", I've read mixed reviews, but I love Toni Collette and the first episode really drew me in, I thought I'd watched like half of it from my sense of time...
Yeah, Iceland would be super high on my list (and I think politically it's probably one of the best countries at the moment)
But of course it's even darker half of the year than in Finland AND I seriously doubt it's even possible to learn that language as a foreigner
Generally I think...
Well that’s obviously a global problem at the moment, but at least due to our last failure with fascism, we have built in a couple of more safety mechanisms in our political system, I’m trying to convince myself they’d hold in order to preserve the rest of my mental health :scream:
I was going...
My dream would actually be Finland, except for the part where it's too dark most of the year and then I wouldn't move to a country with a direct border to Putin, that wouldn't exactly improve the current situation.
I guess my most realistic bet would be Spain, since my employer already has an...
