The Old Guard just came out today on Netflix and it's excellent! Would recommend - also, watch out for the credits scene. And congratulations to the director, Gina Prince-Bythewood; she is the first Black woman to direct a comic-book film. She rocked it! :cheer:

Tiger King is too much; the level of insanity from all these folks is just...whoa. I'm four episodes in and I just...well right now I don't have words.

I just started The Expanse yesterday and whoa, it's great! Four episodes in and if I wasn't at work today (my job is somewhat essential? For now at least?) I'd probably be watching all day lol

I just got back from Little Women and wow, my emotions 😢 such a well-done film. At first I was thrown off by the back and forth with the timeline, but by the end I really appreciated that. I really can't believe Greta Gerwig wasn't nominated for Best Director

i know season 2 just dropped but I started season 1 of You after work today and it's making my skin crawl. It's really well done, but I hate that I'm so interested in this show lol.

Definitely have to recommend Knives Out - such a fun movie! Well acted, and I thought the story was pretty clever. I want to see it again to see what details I catch next time- I have a feeling it's one of those that you notice new things upon repeat viewing.

I went to Oahu in June - I have a few friends stationed there, and one of them is leaving for upstate NY so we made sure to go before he left lol. It's beautiful - you'll have a wonderful time! We stayed on the North Shore at an Airbnb right on Sunset Beach - there's a cute little coffee stand...

(((H/D))) I do think they need to go back to the drawing board on the FD (I'd like to swap out a song in their SD as well, but I won't ask for too much...). I know it's early in the season, but I don't think this is the right vehicle for them to retain the national title and stay on the world...

Someone please tell them to forget about voiceovers!! Their skating is beautiful but this program has a lot of growing to do. I'm still surprised by the music choice - I hope I buy in by the end of the season.

:shuffle: I don't love that...maybe I'll like it more in the competition, but for right now, I don't see this being the right music for them for a FD. I hope they prove me wrong! I've actually been underwhelmed by most of the music selections for ice dancers this season so far. Again and again...

I don't post in here a lot but I read The Bird King back in June and it's still one of my favorite new books I've read this year. I loved it from start to finish.

I'd also recommend Lancaster; I went to school in York and a few of my good friends live in Lancaster now so I have been through a fair number of times now. The Kitchen Kettle Village and Amish Village are always fun, and I've heard good things about Escape Room Lancaster. Lititz is another cute...

I've really been hoping for a non-romantic FD, so I won't lie, this would be pretty disappointing to me. I do like the music from the movie and I totally believe they could make a really nice FD with it, but I really want to see H/D do something different. They are fully capable of something...
