The team event day 1 starts at 2:55 am in my time zone. Should not be a problem since I am awake most days (nights) at that time. At least I will have something fun to do.
I was at every event at 1998 worlds, even many of the practices. I remember all that stuff! Really remember Ina and Dungjen because it happened right in front of me too.
I was looking out the window this morning watching the herd of deer eating my trees  and one of them lowered him or herself to the ground for a rest. Stayed there for quite a while. That must be the lazy deer of the herd :D
I have now seen a lot of the RDs and I have to say I don't enjoy most of them at all. There have been a few exceptions, but most of the RDs are meh. If they were trying to be more modern they have failed. The 90s were a long time ago!
I am not a fan of abbreviations either. Sometimes they do not look like their names at all (to me) so I get confused. Initials of last names make more sense to me.
I don't mind road trips and have driven by myself to Nationals in Omaha, Kansas City and to SA in Hoffman Estates. I have been to Lake Placid but that really is out if the way and I would really have to think about it in November. If I did not live so far away I would be tempted.
I once painted a bedroom and decided the white color was a little off. Went back to store for different paint. Repainted the next day, did not need to retape. SO would have thought I was nuts so I did not mention it!
There are so many white paints with different undertones. I got it right on...
I look at particularly fugly clothing and try to imagine who decided to manufacture it, as well as sell it! Apparently there is a customer for everything
I had a springer that would steal SO's shoes. She would take a shoe to her bed and sleep on it. Never chewed them up or harmed them in any way. It was kind of cute and he would go retrieve a shoe if one went missing.
In the last week I have seen a fat raccoon (expecting babies) a fox (fox kits have been seen in a culvert under the road) and a silver squirrel (must be a descendant of the albino one I saw a few years ago).
Yesterday I saw a northern flicker up close as she was looking for food in my lawn...
