Just got back from watching. The place where I volunteer gave out glasses. Lot's of people in the park watching. Very cool. Totality is a bucket list item for me- this is as close as I've gotten. So far.

Echoing what @nlloyd said. I have a few more years until I'm at that point in my life, but we all get there in the end, if we're fortunate enough to live long.

I really enjoyed this post- both the memories and the history. I've never been to Australia; it's definitely on my list.

I've definitely not purchased items because they were locked up- I'm not going to grab someone to open a case so I can get a candy-bar (which I shouldn't be eating anyway!) Also- the local pharmacy often doesn't have the item I'm looking for, and I don't have the time to try seven different...

I want to focus on the mainland- I want to see Delphi, and I'm deciding between the peloponnese, or seeing Meteora and Mt. Olympus. I'm kind of saving Santorini- a friend and I have been talking about going to Greece for years, and that is on both of our lists.
