Have you read the Expanse series by James S. A. Corey? I read the first one and liked it, although I don't normally gravitate towards sci fi. My dad is much more into sci fi than I am; I bought him the first 3 books in the series for his birthday, and he loves them.
I like basically all detective series, so I will have to check this one out. Is this a series that needs to be read in the right order? I just looked in the catalogue for my local library, and they only have #3 and #6.
I eventually managed to get a one-day ticket for Thursday to show up, so I bought it because I figured it was better than nothing. But I'm hoping I'll be able to buy Friday & Saturday tickets tomorrow, or an all-event ticket and sell the Thursday one.
I was on the site at exactly 10 am, clicked on the "Purchase" button, and entered the pre-sale code - and all events were displaying as "not available". I know it sold out last year, but I would be pretty surprised if it sold out in less than 30 seconds. I'm not really sure what's going on, so...
The email I got just had a link to the eventbrite purchase page, and mentioned the promo code (FANS). I think you had to be on their mailing list to get the email, but I'm assuming anyone can use the promo code.

I recently read How to Stop Time, by Matt Haig. It's about a man who ages much more slowly than the average person - so he's over 400 years old, but looks like he's in his 40s. He of course has trouble dealing with the consequences of living such a long life, and then drama ensues when he meets...
It looks like there are still seats in the lower section for now, but when I selected the "P3" price option it gave me section 121, row V - which is in the upper rows of seats at that price level.
If that's what it deems to be the "best available", then maybe they really are starting to sell...
