The Dance Hall 12: Boston Tea Dance Party

Interesting…the new FD music from Aboian/Veseluhkin is the same composer/producer that Gregory used in their Adam and Eve FD.

90s RD suggestions: T/V - The Sundays, Duncan Sheik, or any upbeat coffeehouse music Smart/Dieck - Clueless soundtrack, Garbage, or Jeff Buckley

2024-25 US Pairs Discussion - Triple-Twisting Through Tornado Alley

With the U.S. now offering gold cards to wealthy foreigners for citizenship for the low price of $5 million dollars, I wonder if any of the non-U.S. born pairs skater can take that route for an expedited citizenship. ?

    2024-25 Program Music and Choreographers

Wait, Piper and Paul are using Wipeout as part of their RD and listed the Beach Boys as the artist for the song. The Surfaris did the original version of the song, but the Beach Boys did a 1980’s cover of this song with the Fat Boys. Wonder which version they will be using?

The Dance Hall 11: Movin' On Up 2023-2024

Kimberly Navarro and Brett Bommentre skated to those two songs and Soul Surfing for their 2008-2009 FD.

The Dance Hall 11: Movin' On Up 2023-2024

Guignard/Fabbri‘S RD choice is perplexing. Why not just do an all Phil Collin’s RD? With Against All Odds, they could use In the Air Tonight, Sussudio, and/or Easy Lover.

The Dance Hall 11: Movin' On Up 2023-2024

This early part of the season is bringing some exciting new pairings like Smart/Dieck. They’re opening to their RD is sizzling and very entertaining. While, I like the cohesiveness of using two Blondie songs, I almost feel like they should segue from “Call Me” to a song that lyrically has a...

    U.S. Ice Dance 2023-24 news & updates

Lyrically, the change from “Love is a Battlefield” to “Call Me” perplexed me in the RD for Wolfkostin/Tsarevski. I wonder if they realize “Call Me” was written for the movie American Gigolo. They should try and incorporate some of the dance moves from the Love is a Battlefield music video...

The Dance Hall 11: Movin' On Up 2023-2024

Tkachenko and Kiliakov’s RD is like a fusion/homage of Punsalan and Swallow’s race car program and the Cutting Edge (the main characters’ short program). They’ve got my favorite costumes so far in the RD.

2022-23 US Pairs Discussion - Second to None!

What about Jessica Calalang as a possible partner for Brandon if he would like to continue competing? Their lifts would be amazing.

    2023-2024 Rhythm dance

I’d like to see a Dolly Parton 80’s Program with I Will always Love You, Working 9 to 5, and Island in the Stream. Some young team should use “Tonight is What it Means to Be Young” with lyrics like “we’re dancing for the restless and broken hearted” from Streets of Fire. The Electric Dreams...

    2023-2024 Rhythm dance

If a team uses Van Halen, I hope they do something off the 5150 album like Dreams. The Chipmunk Adventure soundtrack would a be fun RD especially with the song “The Girls/Boys of Rock N Roll” along the choreography from the movie. I dare a team to use the Rocky IV soundtrack. There’s great...

    2023-2024 Rhythm dance

The 1980’s pre-teeny bopper in me would love to see New Edition and New Kids on the Block programs. Both bands have such iconic choreography. For something different, there’s the When Harry Met Sally soundtrack with music from Harry Connick Jr. (must have fall aesthetic costumes) and One from...

    2023-2024 Rhythm dance

With this 80’s theme, I need Olivia Smart and her new partner to skate to the Who’s That Girl soundtrack particularly the song “Causing a Commotion.” She was amazing channeling Sandy from Grease, and would definitely be a fabulous Nikki Finn (Madonna). Also, I hope a team picks “Tonight is What...

The Dance Hall 10: The Saitama Samba 2022-2023

In their interview with Anything GOEs, Green/Parsons, it sounded like Green/Parsons had less say on the choreography with their programs this season. I get they wanted to do something different than last year’s FD, but what about Rhapsody in Blue made them say this what we should pick this...
