Okay - I like Kaiya Ruiter. I think she has good potential. I think she can clean up her issues and get stronger. She has good coaching and a good team around her. And most definitely, Skate Canada needs to send its skaters out to competitions more often.

It sounds like she was dabbling in pairs this year and surprised everyone- including herself - by how quickly she picked up the elements. I think it’s a good move for her and won’t be at all surprised to see her give up singles eventually.
Same. I didn't love U&Z's program that year but I've always thought they were robbed of gold.

And anyone looking at it objectively would have chosen Wesley and Roman as the world team. I adore Conrad Orzel, but he's even less consistent than Roman is. The other guys who finished ahead are really young and inexperienced.
