Would that be the quality of forced starvation, emotional abuse, performance enhancing drugs or unsustainable technique?
Oh well, I guess enjoy whatever it is until they reach their expiration date.
We don’t know who bid for the qualifying competition or not. It does seem rather convenient that Beijing was chosen - a country to which Russian and Belarusian skaters will have no issues travelling. Also much easier to control the media in China.
Last time I checked this was a discussion forum. I am expression my opinion about skaters funded by an organisation targeting and killing civilians in Ukraine on a daily basis being allowed to compete. Perhaps put me on ignore like you do for these atrocities?
The delay was unfortunate. However, justice takes times and all parties deserve due process even countries like Russia who keep breaking the rules. Glad to see the Americans and Japanese get their medals. Hope the Canadians are successful in their appeal.
Any idea what this statement on Kana’s Instagram is about?

Hope it’s nothing serious.

I am shocked that people are shocked. No matter how unbelievable their defence, the accused deserve to have due process. Investigations take time. However, the outcome was only ever going to go one way. If it had not, it would have turned the entire global anti-doping system on its head...
I am sad for their fans right now, but I feel like Hawayek/Baker got the marks they deserved. Perhaps even a little more than they would have if they did not skate for USA.
This. Skate Canada secured the release of 7 out of the 14 ice dancers currently on their national team from other nations. That amounts to fifty percent. The sheer hypocrisy displayed is truly astonishing. :blah:
In the document, Skate Canada mentions the substantial investment they made in...
I really like this team, but they were fortunate that this happened at Nationals. It seemed like Daisuke's stamina is a bit lacking which he needs to work on. The fall on the lift cost them almost 4 points! It could be the difference between finishing top 10 at Worlds easily.
