I was last night's game and OMG the vibe was indescribable. I watched tonight's game with a few friends and we thought the Jays were down and out but as we should have learned by now DON'T EVER COUNT THEM OUT! WORLD SERIES BOUND BABY!

James and Radford withdrew after the short program (did one of them have covid or had recently had it?) They had the highest ISU season best score of the Canadian pair teams leading into nationals as I recall and IMO deserved their selection.

The Jays beat the Yankees in New York! ALCS here we come. LFG! And if Bo is back I will do my darndest to get to an ALCS home game.

Their season best score is only about 4 points behind Pereira/Michaud and that's with junior rules, so yeah this could get interesting.

Kemp/Elizarov and Desrochers/Thrasher are on Skate Canada's international assignments page for IceChallenge next month where they will make their senior international debuts.

Well Gabby Daleman will be making a return to international competition after I think three years. She's on Skate Canada's assignments page for IceChallenge in Austria (along with Kaiya Ruiter and a larger junior field: Sandrine Blais, Megan Woodley, Hetty Shi and Quinn Startek)

Keegan Messing is on the international assignments page for the Ice challenge in Austria. This should give him a bye through sectionals but he'll still have to do the Skate Canada Challenge to qualify for nationals based on the dates. Oh and Grayson Long is also entered!
